Jeannette owes her real estate career to Oprah. While watching "Oprah" at home in 2003, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" author Robert Kyosaki shared how he built wealth through buying and renting out residential real estate, piquing her interest in that market sector. In 2004, seeking a career change from being a probation officer, Jeannette decided to get her real estate license with the goal of investing in real estate and building wealth through passive income. She began her sales career by selling for large local homebuilders and then, during the worst residential real estate market in 100 years, launched her residential resale career.

Today, Jeannette consistently sells over $15,000,000 annually in Richmond's residential market and has built a loyal client base. She is actively involved with the Richmond Association of Realtors and received their Circle of Excellence awards from 2013–2023.

In her free time, she treasures spending one-on-one time with her middle school–age son, Walter. Jeannette loves to travel to as many new places as possible and regularly plays tennis at Westwood Club. In addition, she has been an active member of St. James's Episcopal Church in downtown Richmond for over 20 years.

Jeannette graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 1998 and earned her Master's degree in Criminal Justice from VCU in 2002.
